Lafayette Modern Remodel
Klopf Architecture took what was once a dark mid-century modern home with a fragmented layout and repositioned the kitchen so it now has a more relaxed flow into the dining room. Larger openings between the rooms along with more natural light coming in through new skylights and larger windows have brightened the spaces. A convenient butler’s pantry was created in the formerly cramped kitchen area. New redwood interior siding in the dining room was carefully matched with the original siding to create a coherent look.
