Lafayette New Residence

This compound house is intended to create acoustical privacy between functions of the house while providing a grand sense of space for indoor-outdoor living. The house and pool house (technically an ADU) are broken up into several blocks: one primary suite, one media room, one living space, one bedroom wing, and one guest house. The hillside house and ADU are focused toward an expansive view while also physically defining a large outdoor patio and pool area where the family of three can entertain and enjoy Lafayette’s beautiful weather.
