We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Elise Webb from Designer to Architect at Klopf Architecture. In her three years at the firm Elise has demonstrated her exceptional talent and dedication, notably as a dynamic team player and for stepping up into leadership roles through many of her projects’ life cycles. In addition to her architectural skills, her interest in interior design bolsters Klopf’s holistic interior/architectural design approach and with a minor in Sustainable Environments, Elise hopes to participate in broadening Klopf Architecture’s stance on sustainable practices. As the newest licensed architect at the firm, Elise has proven to be an inspiration to her teammates.
Elise’s journey to this milestone has been nothing short of extraordinary. Graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo amidst the challenges of the pandemic, she navigated uncertainty with optimism and determination. Receiving no responses from prospective employers in the LA area that piqued her interest, she instead took the high road and searched for her dream position, one where she could focus on her passion for Mid Century Modern design – which ultimately led her to Klopf Architecture.
Elise’s genuine interest in understanding clients’ lives and preferences underscores her ideology of holistic design. With remarkable client relationship skills, she’s been able to foster deep connections and has continually gained the trust of her clients. Her confidence is palpable and clients have invariably appreciated her results.
Her lifelong passion for Mid-Century Modern architecture, nurtured from childhood strolls with her mom through Eichler neighborhoods, has fueled her creativity and drive. Her vibrant artwork, inspired by those early memories, serves as an expression of her creativity and zest for life. Whether exploring architectural wonders across the city or sketching out her dream house over a milkshake, Elise’s passion for her craft is apparent in every endeavor.
